About the role

Build whatever it takes to get Dodo live in the practices and networks that need it. Sit with our largest customers, solve the technical problems standing between contract and production, and ship the integrations and tools that make the next hundred launches routine.

What you'll do

You'll work at the edge of the product, where a customer's systems and workflows meet ours, and turn what you learn there into code the whole company benefits from.

Own the hardest technical parts of enterprise deployments: new practice management and phone system integrations, data migrations, custom workflows, and whatever else stands between a signed contract and live calls

Work directly with customers' operations and IT teams, and with our Care Engineers, to understand what a network actually needs and build it

Ship production code into the core codebase, so a one-off customer solution becomes a product capability

Debug the hardest problems across APIs, data, telephony, and customer environments, often on a live deployment

Build the internal tooling that makes deployments faster and increasingly self-serve for Care Engineering

Feed what you see in the field back to product and engineering, and help decide what we build next

Help write the technical deployment playbook that takes Dodo from thousands to tens of thousands of locations

Who you are

You're a strong engineer who would rather solve a real customer's problem this week than a hypothetical one next quarter.

3+ years writing production software, comfortable across backend, integrations, and data

Experience integrating with third-party systems and APIs, ideally in healthcare, telephony, or other messy real-world domains

Exceptional problem solver who can take an ambiguous customer problem and own it through to resolution

Communicates equally well with practice operators, IT teams, and engineers

Bias toward building and automation: when you see something repetitive, you want to make it disappear

High agency, resourceful, and comfortable owning problems outside a predefined scope

Excited to spend time close to customers while still shipping every day
