Job Summary

As a Production Supervisor at Shield AI, you will lead production operations and manufacturing teams, ensuring efficient workflow, high product quality, and timely delivery. This hands-on leadership role requires a proactive approach to solving production challenges and fostering continuous improvement as our company grows.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily production operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards

Manage and coordinate production schedules and resources to meet output targets and delivery deadlines

Lead, coach, and develop production teams, promoting a culture of accountability and operational excellence

Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements

Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions to optimize workflow

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards

Oversee onboarding and training of new production team members

Support the introduction of new products, upgrades, and manufacturing initiatives

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or operations leadership

Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and resolve operational challenges in a fast-paced environment

Experience leading and developing production or manufacturing teams

Strong knowledge of manufacturing best practices, quality control, and workflow optimization

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-focused organization

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years’ experience in supervising manufacturing or production teams, especially in aerospace, defense, or tech-intensive environments

Experience with process improvement, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies

Familiarity with ERP and production scheduling systems

Experience in high-growth, scaling production operations

Knowledge of export control requirements (e.g., ITAR/EAR)
